The Victorian Coalition Government will introduce a new Transitional Feed-in Tariff (TFIT) for properties installing rooftop solar panels to replace the current Premium Feed-in Tariff (PFIT), which will soon reach its statutory capacity of 100 megawatts.

39 companies including Infigen, Grocon, and The Body Shop have signed on to a joint statement backing a price on carbon.
The companies join previous signatories including GE, Fujitsu, IKEA, and Alstom to make up a total of 55 companies pledging their support for a carbon price. Momentum's parent company Hydro Tasmania is also a key signatory.

The Board of Momentum Energy Pty Ltd has appointed Nigel Clark as its new Managing Director.
Nigel was previously Momentum’s Chief Financial Officer and replaces Camillo D’Alessandro, who has now left the company after years of successfully leading the business through a significant development stage.
