Momentum's new Victorian 7c/kWh solar feed-in tariff
From 1 January 2017, Momentum will offer a retailer solar feed-in tariff (FiT) of 7 cents for every additional kilowatt (kWh) our eligible solar customers feed back into the National Electricity Market (NEM) grid.
I am a current solar customer, what does this mean for me?
From 1 January 2017 onwards, Momentum's new retailer FiT will be 7c/kWh. If you’re on our retailer solar FiT, you will see a credit on your next bill of 7 cents for every kilowatt you feed back into the electricity grid.
I was on the TFiT or SFiT scheme - what happens next?
You should have received your new Terms and Conditions for Momentum’s retailer FiT scheme and the option to move to our 7c/kWh retailer solar FiT.
If you haven't received this, or if you have any questions, please email email@example.com or contact our Australian-based Customer Care team on 1300 662 778 weekdays between 8am and 6pm (AEST).
I have been sent a letter that referenced a scheme I wasn't on
Some customers may have recently received a letter that incorrectly referred to the customer as being on the "one-for-one" FiT scheme, and that this scheme is expiring. We sincerely apologise for this error.
Is Momentum supporting solar customers?
Momentum is proud to be owned by Hydro Tasmania, Australia's largest generator of renewable energy.
We are thrilled that you are contributing to a more sustainable future through your solar generation and are showing our commitment to supporting you through a tariff that is higher than the the Essential Services Commission (ESC) minimum retailer solar FiT of 5c/kWh.
Please don't hesitate to contact our Australian-based Customer Care team on 1300 662 778 weekdays between 8am and 6pm (AEST) if you have any questions.
