Victorian Premier’s Sustainability Awards

Marking a "brand" new partnership with Sustainability Victoria, Momentum Energy was the Principal Sponsor of the awards to help recognise and encourage innovation in sustainability practices and resource use.

Momentum Energy recognised community and businesses for sustainable and innovative use of resources at the Victorian Premier’s Sustainability Awards on 29 October 2015.

Marking a ‘brand’ new partnership with Sustainability Victoria, Momentum Energy was the Principal Sponsor of the awards to help recognise and encourage innovation in sustainability practices and resource use.

Hydro Tasmania’s Director Strategy and Market Development, Andrew Catchpole, presented the Community Award went to St Kilda Mums, Geelong Mums and Eureka Mums and the Small and Medium Enterprise Business Award to Yarra Valley Estate.

“Congratulations to all the inspirational participants, who were among a record high number of entrants in this 13th year of the Victorian Premier’s Sustainability Awards,” Mr Catchpole said.

“Momentum Energy and Hydro Tasmania are proud to provide affordable energy sourced from wind and rain; to help us live and work more sustainably,” he said.

Momentum Energy’s Managing Director, Paul Geason, summed up why this new partnership is important: “at Momentum, our people recognise we’re in the fortunate position to be able to talk to our customers about making sustainable choices for the earth.”
