Electricity on the Bass Strait Islands is provided by Hydro Tasmania. As part of Hydro Group, Momentum looks after the retail side of things – your bills, organising your connections and customer care.
If you need help with your account, call Momentum on 1300 662 778 during opening hours.
For questions about generation or distribution, call Hydro Tasmania on 1300 360 441 (8:30am–7pm, Monday to Friday).
All emergencies and faults should be reported to TasNetworks by calling 13 2004, 24 hours a day. Hydro Tasmania doesn’t have a dedicated 24-hour call centre service, so TasNetworks currently receives fault information on our behalf.
