Giving kids worms
No, not those worms. We mean worm farms. Plus bush tucker gardens, water-saving programs, native animal habitats and solar-powered classrooms. That’s just a few of the sustainability initiatives Victorian schools got off the
ground with our $1,000 Junior Landcare Powerful Youth Projects grants. Go kids!
Adopting cats
Since 2010, we’ve sponsored Geelong Football Club. We’re also the power company for their home ground in Kardinia Park – GMHBA Stadium. And we’re particularly stoked that Geelong is one of the clubs competing
in the women’s league too. Go Cats!
Volunteering our people
We offer volunteer leave so our people can easily put their hand up to help out. Whether it’s cleaning parks for Clean Up Australia Day or helping the Salvos pack Christmas toys for disadvantaged families, when our staff see
an opportunity to do some good, we make it easy for them to do it.
Boosting local business
We’ve got a soft spot for Aussie businesses (after all, we are one). So from 2008 to 2017 we gave a bunch of Victorian small businesses, like Diabetes Meals Online, extra support through our 3AW Momentum Energy Small Business
Success Awards.
