Get your business in shape with The Ultimate Low Carb(on) Diet Plan

Let’s face it, the world is overdue for a serious detox. And no simple juice cleanse is going to do the job.

Have you ever looked at your business and thought, “It’s about time I cut back on the emissions?” Who hasn’t, right? We can all feel a bit bloated and gassy from time to time.

Now you may be thinking, “Making changes is all too hard” or “Net Zero is for the real bigger types to deal with”. You’d be surprised how much difference you can make in your own backyard - And it’s actually really easy!

We’ve developed an easy-to-follow program to get your business in tip-top shape.

Introducing the Ultimate Low Carb(on) Diet

Developed through decades of scientific research, the latest thing for businesses around Australia, and the world, is a low-carbon diet!

It’s incredible!

This cutting edge, 4-step program to get you on track to hit your emissions goal in time for the coming record-hot summer. With some simple tweaks to your lifestyle and following our patented steps, you’ll see long term results.

So how does it work?

Step one: Track everything

Look at your figure/s– and deliver yourself some honest feedback. Have you been letting yourself go? You’ll need to keep a closer eye on what you’re consuming and, by extension, what you’re burning.

Firstly, there’s the carbon you know you’re directly consuming. Maybe you’ve even tried cutting carbs before, without success. Things like:

  • Fuel burned in company vehicles
  • On-site boilers or furnaces for manufacturing
  • Other direct industrial processes

Then there’s the sneakier carbs – the hidden ones you consumed without realising. Like the sugar in that ‘healthy’ muesli bar, the electricity you buy, or the heating and cooling you use can all contribute to a king-sized carb count.

Once you’ve tracked your intake, we can look at where to start cutting back.

Step 2: Less bad + more good = success!

“Where do I start to cut carbs?” I hear you ask. Well, the good news is you don’t have to go cold turkey; we don’t want you to binge on carbs later on to make up for a sudden drop in energy.

Start by making healthier choices where you can. Think of coal and gas as sometimes fuels - it’s healthier to use less until we can cut them out altogether.

Focus on making small changes over time. Go for less of the bad stuff and choose more healthy renewables wherever you can. Pick an energy provider who backs renewables, and preferably one owned by a large generator of renewables, , then swap your gas appliances for electric ones – You'll feel satisfied and won’t even miss these carbs.

Every little bit adds up. Soon, your low-carb(on) diet will feel less like climbing a mountain and more like a stroll through the farmer's market.

BAM! The old you is gone, and a new low-carb you is totally within reach!

Step 3: Lean on your support network

Good habits are contagious. And once you start down a healthier low-carb path you’ll want others to join you. And it’s important because what those around you do counts to your own carb-count and can undo all the carb dieting you’ve been doing across your business. I know it doesn’t sound fair, sadly we don’t make the carbon-counting rules.

So what do you do? The simple answer is to put them on a low-carb diet too! Get your whole supply chain on board. Choose ways to slim down or offset the carb generated by things like:

  • Emissions generated by your suppliers
  • Business travel
  • Employee commutes
  • Products used by customers
  • Waste disposal

This can be the tricky part, but the effort is worth it when you start looking at your svelte new emissions profile.

Step 4: Keeping it off

Wow! The results are amazing!

You’ve stepped on the carbon-scales and see your goal number staring back at you.

Before you celebrate with a big bowl of carbon, check in with yourself. Has your appetite for carbs pretty much gone? I know mine has.

When you achieve your carbon goal, it’s time to maintain it. It’s all about embracing your new lifestyle, with those low-carb options on autopilot. Keep it up and you’ll maybe even be headed towards that magical goal of Net Zero.

So get with the program! On a low-carb diet, your business will be looking amazing in no time!
